Local Area Networks (LANs) are our specialty.  We specialize in small to medium size Microsoft Windows NT/2003 server-based networks with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP clients.  We can also setup and support smaller peer-to-peer networks.

We can build new LANs from the ground up, add on to existing networks, or build a new LAN in parallel with your existing network and perform a smooth transition. We use only EIA/TIA certified cabling, hardware, and terminating devices along with brand names such as 3Com, Cisco, and Linksys for the ultimate in performance and reliability.

SERVER

We use high-reliability, COMPAQ HP & IBM & INTEL file servers in all of our server installations.  Our time tested experience with these systems gives us the confidence that they will provide tens of thousands of hours of uninterrupted service.

We select our servers from a wide variety of systems so that the server fits the application - from dial-in gateway, to mail server, to database application server.  The modularity of the servers we choose allows for smooth future expansion and scalability as the server's role in the system matures.

File servers are configured with varying levels of disk RAID fault tolerance to increase system up-time and minimize system down-time in the event of a component failure.   DAT and DLT tape backup drives assure that all data is securely backed up on a regular basis.

E-MAIL AND GROUPWARE SYSTEMS

Hosted E-Mail

We can provide individual e-mail boxes for all of your staff based on your existing internet domain name or a new domain name that we can help secure for you.

Our Internet e-mail servers are fully POP3 and IMAP4 compliant.  Standard e-mail programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Netscape all work seamlessly with our services.

Plus, through our user-friendly, easy to use Web Mail interface, your e-mail is accessible from anywhere in the world anytime of the day.  All you need is an internet connection and you have access to your e-mail.

We also have a full featured Virus Filtering and Spam Reduction Service available for clients whose e-mail domain we host and for those who have their own e-mail domains.

Groupware Systems

Groupware systems include local, inter-office and internet e-mail, group scheduling, group calendars, group contact lists, group task management, and public shared folders all in one program.  It greatly simplifies, streamlines, and improves communications within your organization and gives everyone the ability to communicate in many different ways.

We utilize Microsoft Exchange Server as our groupware solution.  It must run on a medium to high powered file server with appreciable storage capacity and can require its own, dedicated file server.  We use Microsoft Outlook as the groupware and e-mail client.

INTERNET ACCESS
